Should you opt to have a chauffeur at your disposal, the options are hourly, half day and full day. In addition chauffeurs, tour guides may be provided on request.

Charges are calculated per hour and depend on the service required.

Customised Vehicle for Wheelchair Travel

In recognition that Avis caters for a wide range of transport solutions to the public, a customized Toyota Quantum assisting passengers in their wheelchairs is available through Avis Chauffeur Drive. The first of more to come, the Quantum has a hydraulic-side lift that hoists passengers in their wheelchairs onto a platform into the vehicle allowing easy access and exit opportunities. It accomodates 3 passengers in wheelchairs and 6 seated passengers.

The lifts are fitted by Skyjacks wheelchair and Commercial Lifts and are manufactured specifically for South African conditions and constantly upgraded with latest technology available. Drivers have been specifically trained to operate the lift and ensure all passengers are secure.
